Oikos Teas are designed and hand-crafted using White Tea, Green Tea and Black Tea which are made from Single Estate Ceylon Tea. This tea has been grown in the mountainous region of Nuwara-Eliya in Ceylon (Sri- Lanka) amongst the wild flowering forest. Here, the air is scented with the fragrance of abundant cypress trees, wild mint and eucalyptus - one of the unique factors that combine to create this distinctive tea. These teas, containing powerful anti-oxidants, are completely organic and produced in small batches once every 6-8 weeks and some 5-9 months. Recognized by tea connoisseurs the world over for its exquisite flavour and aroma, it has been said that Nuwara Eliya is to Ceylon Tea what Champagne is the French Wine.
